We’re back for another year, we had a massive success in 2021, now we’d like to be bigger and better, including more drop off points.
Why donate?
All your glasses are graded and refurbished in France before going on to be used in programs across Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Nigeria, Mali, Chad, Tanzania, and Bangladesh and Nepal. With some being provided to Unite for Sight a charity which has provided eye care to 2,900,000 people in North America, Africa, and Asia while also training over 10,000 people to help stop preventable blindness in their local communities.
What to donate?
- ✔ Vari / Bi / Tri Focal
- ✔ Rimless / Semi Rimless
- ✔ Metal / Plastic
- ✔ Scratched Lenses
- ✔ Sunglasses
- ✗ Broken frames
Lenses do not need to be free of scratches, however the frames need to be intact. They do not need to be in cases for them to be accepted.
“Here in Flintshire, we’re focusing on a vision of sustainability, and that includes giving old glasses a new lease on life. So, I urge everyone to dig out those old frames from the back of your drawers – you’d be amazed at the difference they can make!”
