Welsh Labour councillors have demonstrated their commitment to supporting local communities by attending a cost of living outreach event hosted by Flintshire Citizens Advice Bureau. The event aimed to provide valuable resources and support to residents of Flintshire who are struggling to make ends meet due to the rising cost of living.
The event, which took place on Nov 10th, saw Welsh Labour councillors from across the region come together to learn about the important work of the Flintshire Citizens Advice Bureau. The outreach provided councillors with a range of resources to take back to their communities, including information on budgeting, debt management, and accessing support services.
Speaking about the event, Cllr Dan Rose said, “We are proud to support the Flintshire Citizens Advice Bureau and their valuable work in supporting local communities. By attending this outreach event, our councillors have gained important insights and resources that will help them to better serve their constituents.”
The cost of living outreach event was just one of many initiatives undertaken by the Flintshire Citizens Advice Bureau to support local residents. The organisation provides free, confidential and impartial advice on a range of issues, including debt, housing, employment, and benefits. Their cost of living outreach program is designed to help people who are struggling to make ends meet to access the support they need.
Flintshire councillors have long been committed to promoting community engagement and education, and events like the cost of living outreach are an important part of that work. The team is dedicated to supporting local initiatives that help to empower residents and provide them with the resources they need to make informed decisions about their lives.
