As a continuation of our ongoing clean-up initiative, we organised our second clean-up event, this time collaborating with Flintshire Council staff and Wales & West Housing at Powell Road, the site of Wales & West’s very first housing project.
Despite the unpredictable weather, the event was a resounding success, with a notable turnout of eager volunteers, including several children enjoying their half-term break by lending a helping hand in the litter pick drive around the estate.
Prior to the event, we had sent letters to the residents seeking relevant information to ensure a smooth and impactful clean-up. The event was a resounding success, demonstrating the power of community collaboration in fostering a cleaner and more vibrant neighbourhood.
